Rating: 84/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. While seemingly priced for everyday drinking, this puzzling wine is a little too chalky and tough to meet that need. Its modest measure of mildly spiced cherries fades away all too soon and should disappear wholly before the wine's acid-edged tannins abate.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.

Rating: 86/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. Raymond's Cabernet roster is a long one, and this one falls in the mid ranks as far as character and quality are concerned. It shows a keen bit of well-focused curranty fruit and subtle oak sweetness, yet it is still fairly tight and a bit backward even if not overly tannic, and it could do with a few years in which to knit together and soften.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.

Rating: 86/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. Straightforward themes of ripe cherries are met by mild notes of sweet oak in the both the mid-density nose and well-scrubbed flavors of this very amiable and easy-to-taste wine. It is smooth and supple with minimal tannins, and it will make pleasant drinking with simply grilled meats over the next several summers.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now.
