Big pungent nose showing off some berry aroma but a lot of oak bouquet. Velvety smooth on the tongue. It takes a few seconds to detect the fruit. So, I think this will be a great food wine (grilled blue cheese stuffed flank steak, tonight). Still a bit of drying tannin on the edges and the back of the throat. Such an easy wine to drink, but I would not encourage anyone to lay this one away for much longer.
