Saturated opaque purple red. Moderately full-bodied. Highly extracted. Quite tannic. Chocolate, blueberries. Rich, spicy aromas lead a lush, almost thick palate, with soft-textured tannins not inhibiting early drinking - though this will develop further in bottle. Hedonistic.

Deep reddish purple color. Medium-bodied. Highly extracted. Mildly tannic. Toasted oak, vanilla, cassis. Rich, toasted oak aromas. Elegant, smooth and supple with fine concentration and full toasty oak components that linger through the finish. Nice now.

Dense, chewy and concentrated, with a slightly rustic, earthy side to the substantial currant, black cherry, cedar and spice flavors, this California Cabernet is built for aging, with all the right elements to reward cellaring unitl 2000.

Deep purple-red hue. Vibrant berry and oak aromas show a typically Australian show-wine accent. A lean entry leads to a moderately full-bodied palate with vibrant acidity and gripping tannins. Firm, vibrant, flavorful finish. Quite modern, with direct flavors, but a well-crafted and tasty style. Drink now or later.

A well-oaked and complex style, with a pretty underlying band of berry, black cherry and plum. The intensity is there to cellar into 2000, when it will likely have come together; best from 2000 through 2007.

Dark, rich and chocolaty; pretty plum and black cherry flavors push forth, with a pretty overlay of toasty oak and mocha. Finishes with soft, well-integrated tannins. Best from 2001 through 2012.

Prevailing aromas of berries, earth, tobacco, currant and plum carry through to the flavors and the long, lingering finish. Full-bodied, intense, and complex throughout, with enough tannic structure to guarantee aging potential.
