Served very cold so aromas were muted. Slight aroma of corn nuts ... Lemon zest, good acidity, mineral qualities, and some oak.
Lemon zest on the nose - this wine evolves into a medium bodied, well balanced, oaky, yet not overoaked, nice example of a Napa Chardonnay. Very nice for the price, and not too buttery.
I guess oak is in the eye of the beholder. Citrus and apple flavors overwhelmed by oak for me. Definitely a CA Chard.
