What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Editorial Reviews

A touch of diesel, white chocolate, earth, chalk, not fruit driven, a bit of dissolved co2 here, very acid driven wine, clean and crisp but with cutting acidity, easy flavors of apricot and pear, a bit lean and attenuated and the acidity conveys a really steely note, nice bit of kiwifruit, zesty kiwi and lime finish, very bright, good length, mouthwatering minerality at the end This really deserves some food and would work well with certain dishes, on it’s own it is challenging, but interesting 87pts

Green apple nose. Very dry. Clean and light. A bit of acidity. Very easy drinking. Hint of oak on the finish.

Citrus in my nostrils. Like squeezing a grapefruit peel. Very sharp citrus mouth. Almost cankerous in the mouth.

Stemmy grassy nose leads to very clean and light citrus flavors and some herbal notes.

aromas of wet stones, minerals, as if you've dipped into a creek with hints of petrol. on the palate, the wine is lean with med+ acidity, citrus fruits, lemon lime

Lots of petrol with razor sharp acidity. This is definitely a food wine and went great with chicken pad see yu and thai curry chicken. I definitely get the kiwi flavors. this bottle was consumed rather quickly and was really a great complement to the meal.
