Ravines Wine Cellars is a boutique winery on the hillside of glacier-carved Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. We produce fine, dry European-style wines: wines with character, balance and a sense of place.
Classic Cabernet Franc herbaceous aromas. Good, acidic red fruit flavors. Easy drinking.
This is a great effort by a Finger Lakes winery- intense berry aroma, balanced-- nice finish.
I am not going to rate this. I absolutely hated it, it tasted like a cheap, sour, thin california pinot, but my wife really liked it. Perhaps this simply doesn't agree with my palate. Unfortunately my wife had a cold so there are no tasting notes.

The plum and red currant fruit is laced with roasted tobacco leaf and singed cedar details. Offers solid flesh and drive through the finish. Drink now.
Compelling scents of currants, pine, evergreen and plum lend this such lift, charm and friskiness it’s the sort of wine you’ll want to smell for days. The dark currant and plum flavors are nimble but firm, with an ashy core of tannin and the acidity to pair with a charcuterie plate.
Ravines Wine Cellars Cabernet Franc Finger Lakes 750ML
Ravines Cabernet Franc is deliscioously fruti-forward and spicy with perfect balance, soft tannin and a round mouthfeel. - Winery
This fruit-forward red displays aromas of cherry, tomato and red berry, and on the palate, the wine is spicy and soft, with red berry and spice flavors dominating. A red with spirit and class. Pair with grilled duck breast.
