Ravines Pinot Noir 2011
Ravines Wine Cellars is a boutique winery on the hillside of glacier-carved Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. We produce fine, dry European-style wines: wines with character, balance and a sense of place.
The ‘07 Ravines Wine Cellar Pinot Noir, from the Finger Lakes, is a captivating bright ruby in the glass and vibrant, mildly spicy cherry in the mouth. The soft tannins and luxurious velvety texture provide the smooth, long finish that all classic Pinot Noirs try to achieve. Nicely-priced at around $20.
Had this great wine at the Italian Bistro in Hammondsport - perfect with our meal! Very light and elegant, paired nicely with my Talapia Saltimbocca. Earthy aroma, gorgeous garnet color!

Aromas of cherry, plum, eath and spice create a sensual and engaging complexity in this beautiful example of Ravines Pinot Noir. - Winery
This lively Pinot is full of cranberry notes on the nose and juicy fruit on the palate. With balanced acidity and little evidence of oak, this light-bodied wine makes a great choice for warm weather drinking.
