- Only 700 cases of this massive, concentrated wine were made in 1994, from the produce of vines with an average age of over 110 years. These ultra-low yielding ancient vines have produced a wine of impressive intensity and complexity, with gobs of ripe, briary black fruit flavors balanced by chewy tannins and a marvelously long finish. This is widely considered to be one of the most interesting and desirable of all of Ravenswoods excellent single-vineyard Zinfandel bottlings, and 1994 was a particularly successful vintage.
