Really very pleasant for the price. Fruit forward, rich and medium bodied. Not a lot of structure, but again for the price i am very impressed.

Wine Tasting NotesSelected wines from various California counties are blended to provide a Merlot with fresh, intense plum and cherry vanilla aroma. A full, round, ripe berry flavor accompanied by a rather soft, spicy finish make this wine particularly delectable. A large portion of this wine was aged in French oak for eight months to add complexity and structure to the rather opulent fruit characteristics of the Merlot grapes. Like our Vintners Blend Zinfandel, the wine is well suited to drinking now, though if you were to "lose" a few bottles and discover them in your cellar in five years, you would most likely not be disappointed.
