Beautifully dense, this generous, rich wine combines great fruit with a firm but sweet structure. The new wood element is still prominent, but this is now beginning to blend well with the ripe fruit. To finish, the tannins reassert themselves. Wine Enthusiast. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2006 Leoville-Poyferre 3000ml

Chateau Leoville Poyferre - St. Julien FUTURES

Winemaker's Notes:

"The feminine nose of this fantastic Poyferré gives way to a palate withan intriguing savoury edge and perfectly balanced acidity and weight. It isfull bodied and fleshy at first yet gives way to a streamlined, fresh finish. This 2006 is definitely worth a look." Drink 2016-2030. (William Gossip - Fine Wine Sales Executive - 21-Oct-08)
