The least expensive offering, the 2001 Zinfandel Dancing Bull, displays plenty of mountain berry fruit in its medium-bodied, pleasant, round, supple personality. It should be consumed over the next year.
Not a heavy hoof landed in the Dancing Bull - all finese and sweet, satiny fruit. Kirsch, red raspberrry flavors swirl the palate while enticing strawberry on the nose completes this ballerina's pirouette.
A Zin with tangy, vibrant hints of orange peel and wild berry that are supported by firm tannins.
Very good value. Starts with a touch of matchstick, but folds into toasty oak, black cherry, tart, tangy structure and dried berry notes that carry through the finish. Drink now through 2005.
The least expensive, the 2000 Zinfandel Dancing Bull may be the best Zinfandel buy in the marketplace. Its healthy dark plum/ruby color is accompanied by jammy black cherry fruit, medium body, excellent purity, and a lusty, heady finish. It represents everything a Zinfandel should be. Drink this fruit-driven, nicely-sized 2000 over the next 1-2 years.
This plush zin is chock full of jammy blueberry flavor, with little tannic restraint. Serve it cellar temperature with barbecue.
The wine is immediately approachable with lively raspberry and black pepper fruit. Dancing Bull Zinfandel has hints of black pepper and soft, supple tannins. An extremely versatile wine that pairs well with marinara sauce, grilled chicken or barbecued beef. With its bright, vibrant fruit flavors and zesty personality, this wine can go with just about any dish.
