Rancho Zabaco Sauvignon Blanc Russian River Valley Reserve 2002

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

The pungent scent of lime keeps this wine cool and tight, even as the flavor is rich as nectarine jam. It has a deep sauvignon scent and flavor, with an edge of green that sharpens it for food. Chill this for bay scallops sauteacute;ed with leeks.

Their land in the Russian River Valley is devoted to Sauvignon Blanc, while Dry Creek Valley, the “Zin Zone,” consistently produces world-class Zinfandel. Read less

Green as fresh cut grass, with flavors of melon and herb, this sauvignon is fresh and frisky. Serve ice cold with a plate of razor clams.
