Ramsay Pinot Noir 2006
"The mouth explodes with blueberry, bing cherry, anise and toast. Even more striking is the depth and richness of the mouth-feel, lik rich, thick, red velvet for the mouth. The wine is fruity, with blackberry characters and a big, rich, tarry and solid balance. The oak is refined and quite opulent with its 'warm' characters." - Kent Rasmussen, WinemakerCheese Pairings: Camembert, MoCo, Cheddar, MorbierFood Pairings: Braised Pork, Salmon with an Herb Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade
Chocolaty nose, but very fruity with blueberry notes and christmas cake spices. Medium sweet finish on oak, with a little bit of licorice. Lowish acidity
Nice, everyday Pinot. Good with grilled salmon and lamb chops.
