Ramos-Pinto Duas Quintas 2008
The wine is clear and bright, and has an intense garnet color with crimson reflections. It has a lively refreshing aroma, with notes of spices, cinnamon and white pepper. The deeper bouquet has notes of wild berries, black plums and cistus. The wine is very smooth and fresh on the palate, has silky tannins, and is balanced and easy to drink. It is excellent as an aperitif and can accompany light dishes (soups, starters, salads). We especially recommend it with meat carpaccio and grilled meats.
