User Reviews for Ramian la Morra Dolcetto & Nebbiolo Sierra Foothillss

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes on the Ramian La Morra Dolcetto & Nebbiolo Sierra Foothillss 2004 : NVWE NOTES: A food wine from start to finish, this intriguing blend is youthfully reserved, but very complex to the nose; where sweet cherry, strawberry, red plum, dry rose, cereal grain, vanilla and mineral notes fan out in more or less equal intensity. It is firm on the palate, but focused, and continues down the sweet/savory path suggested by the aromas. The finish lingers, and is rendered fully dry by the wines fruit acidity and mineral underpinnings. The final impression is slightly low-key but complex, with flavors of hard cherry candy and hints of cardamon, clove and Mediterranean spices. A blend of 60% Dolcetto and 40% Nebbiolo. 155 cases produced.RAMIAN LA MORRA DOLCETTO & NEBBIOLO sierra foothillss 2004
