Food Pairings for Raimat Tempranillo Costers del Segre
A great example of a Spanish Tempranillo with intense aromas of ripe dark berry fruit and raisins with spiced and smoky aromas reminiscent of oak ageing. Good silky tannins makes this the perfect wine for red meat and wild game. A pleasure to drink especially at such a reasonable price.
Nice value. Lovely plum notes.
bright, elegant, and festive. notes of plum, clove, cinnamon, and liquorice. clean finish.
unique tasted for my untrained pallate. couldn't pick out many flavors because i'm still a newb at this wine tasting stuff but i liked it. yummy smell, yummy taste, and i got it as a gift from hokie. thanks pal.
What a Pleasurable Wine. A 100% Tempranillo Grape. First the nose had a hint of dusty Earth with a smooth sweet tobacco and a light cherry essenance. The palate was smooth fruit, Plum and Cheery and a nip of spice. Finished smooth yet short. Enjoyed with a Herb Crusted Chicken dish and Garlic Bread. This wine I would buy for almost any meal. Yes I got it on Closeout for $5.50 Great Deal
This wine is a great buy. It's easy drinking and goes with many different foods. One of the few wines I would buy by the case for weeknight meals.

Appearance: Deep red in colour with purple hues. Bright and transparent.Nose: Intense aromas of raisins and spices. Smoky aromas from ageing reminiscent of cedarwith clean, intense notes that are sweet and ripe.Palate: Pleasant initial impression and mid-palate thanks to well-integrated tannins that give it arounded elegance. The wood aromas are once again apparent together with a generousquantity of dried fruit. A lingering, agreeable finish with a touch of acidity that providesfreshness.
Garnet brick color. Spicy cranberry nut bread, potter's clay, and coconut aromas follows through on a soft entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with notes of raisin, nuts, and dried currants. Finishes dryly with a dusty earth and cranberry bog fade. A pleasant semi-mature tempranillo to serve with steaks.
