What to Expect
Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.
Winemakers Notes
Radog's Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh take on the popular favored in New Zealand. With fresh lime and pink grapefruit on the nose, this wine finishes with fat glycerin balanced with crisp acidity. In the Arroyo Seco area of the Monterey AVA sits Cedar Lane Vineyard, our source. It is managed by Michael Griva of the Griva Vineyard (where the 90 point Bernardus Sauvignon Blanc fruit comes from) and neighbor's it. Like our Gewürztraminer, the Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in stainless steel. Enjoy this wine today!
