Winemakers Notes

Made from 36 year old vines in gravelly soil, the vineyard is very cool and windy in this Monterey AVA site - perfect for aromatic Gewurztraminer. We ferment free-run juice with no skin contact to eliminate any bitterness on the finish, highlighting the lychee, grapefruit and honeysuckle characteristics. The wine is fermented in stainless steel, in a classic Alsatian , emphasizing fruit and minerals.

Reviews

I just got done mowing the lawn and came inside and cracked a bottle of this open, very crisp and clean wine, not sweet for a gewurtz as the label would imply. It chilled me bones as I stuck it in the freeze for fifteen minutes before i imbibed. Good stuff, good price, what are you waiting for?

"This is a nice juicy white with some classic Gewurz charm and spiciness. There is some bright citrus and apricots that shine through here and good acidity that makes this a balanced read more...
