All of our vineyards in Paso Robles are located on the west side of highway 101. Erich believes this area of limited water, shallow, rugged, rocky, calcareous soils will produce some of the finest wines in Paso Robles, and among the finest in California. Erich planted his vineyards precisely throughout the Paso Robles appellation to take advantage of the unique micro climates and soil characteristics that would best suit each grape variety.

Made entirely from grapes grown on Rabbit Ridge estate vineyards in Paso Robles expect bold black berry fruit with a hint of soft oak and vanilla.
This Zinfandel has the typical Rabbit Ridge jammy and spicy character with pronounced blackberry and raspberry overtones. It is big bodied with soft tannins and a round finish. This 2006 Zinfandel is best consumed young while the jammy flavors are still very fresh. Enjoy during this winter with hardy and spicy dishes and at your spring and summertime barbeques.
