This is a sturdy, full bodied wine, heartily viscous, big, bold, spicy and stormy- not a whole lot of subtlety here especially with it's 15% alcohol wallop. I found it's color deep and murky like a midnight ocean, featuring flavors of butter, some black strap molasses, vanilla, oak, licorice, but almost equally juxtaposed with juicy rich raspberry, cherry, over ripe plums and soft tannins leading to a decent finish. http://www.braisingcain.com/?p=106
