R. H. Phillips Exp Wines Viognier 2005
Floral nose with some nice citrus and tropical fruit. When first opened I caught a whiff of raw meat which seemed to be persistent and consistent with my last bottle. Had with Chinese food, the oil cut through the acidity to bring through some great sweetness in this wine.Add winemaker's notes
R.H. Phillips Winery, nestled in the Dunnigan Hills northwest of of Sacremento, was founded in 1983 by brothers Karl and John Giguiere along with John’s wife Lane. Twenty-eight years later the Giguiere’s continue to produce quality wine with the help of winemakers Blake Kuhn and Owen Smith. Known for their Toasted Head brand wines, the winery sits on 1,700 acres and is a favorite site for weddings and other special events.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
