R. Arnoux Chambolle-Musigny 2005
From a lovely mix of sites that cover various corners of Chambolle that, when combined, make a classic wine of this appellation; round, dense, and quite gorgeous. Domaine Robert Arnoux wines are some of the finest expressions of the privileged terroirs. The domaine has the unique advantage of having uniformly old vines in all of its parcels, making for a consistency of style. Lachaux aims for wines of great finesse and concentration, which reflect their respective terroirs. Domaine Robert Arnoux is now universally acknowledged as a superstar estate.

Domaine Robert Arnoux is in its fifth generation and winemaker Pascal Lachaux strives to better the domaine by reducing yields and improving vinification methods. Lachaux's village Chambolle is soft and feminine with lots of red raspberry fruit. After 18 months of aging in both tank and barrel, the wine boasts of a lovingly watched over cuvaison.
