Qupé Marsanne Santa Ynez Valley 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Despite initially looking like a washout, the vintage was saved by sporadicheat waves and the result (oddly!) is a terrifically balanced wine. Qupe areveterans (by US standards) at Marsanne growing, as they have been doing sosince 1987. This wine has floral hints as well as more prominent honey andcitrus. There is an excellent minerality running through it that suggests thiswill age well. The winemaker believes this will go for up to 20 years! (Mark Ross, Fine Wine Commercial Manager, June 09)
