Quixote Cabernet Sauvignon Panza Stag's Leap 2006

Member Review by cgplayer9:

On the nose, undercurrent of blackberries with musty/earthy notes. On the palate, good core of blackberry, black current, hints of cherry cola and aniseed, a bit of meatiness and subtle smokiness. Medium-full bodied, dusty tannins, moderate finish of plum peels with hints of white pepper.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
