more red fruit earth and spice than on the 2005 vintage. the palate offers red currants, hints of spice, jam and blackberries. More concentration of fruit and has amazing aging potential.

The flagship wine of the Huneeus Family of Napa Valley, Quintessa is a blend of Bordeaux variety grapes from their estate vineyard right in Napa's Rutherford Bench region. Wine Enthusiast Magazine rated it 92 points and said "A big, powerful wine. Shows classic Quintessa ripeness and density, with focused black cherry, currant, mocha, violet and cedar flavors articulated by firm tannins. Bone dry, this wine, from the winery’s hilly estate vineyard in the northeast quadrant of Rutherford, will develop beyond 2012."

Bordeaux blend by the famed Quintessa Estates. With tremendous density, concentration and ample fine tannins, this vintage is full and dramatic early and will age gracefully
