- Declared only in very good years, Silval Vintage Port is made in the traditional way. - Purplish crimson. A bit of indistinct undergrowth on the nose. Definitely autumnal. Round, wild, quite fine - lots of ripe tannin. Interesting, not especially sweet - treacly. Quinta do Noval's bottling made from bought-in grapes to the same high standards as their own ports.
