Quinta Do Noval Port Blend Porto Vintage Silval 2000
External Reviews for Quinta Do Noval Port Blend Porto Vintage Silval
Fresh picked berry fruit. Very soft, slightly closed. Cedar, full bodied. Rich, firm tannins. Excellent concentrated fruit. Creamy finish. 10 years+.
A Port wine from Douro in Portugal. 2000 Quinta do Noval Vintage Quinta do Silval 750ml
Saturated bright ruby. Very ripe, musky aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate and spices. Thick, rich, pliant and sweet; approachable already owing to its creamy, concentrated fruit. Not a hugely gripping port but rich and balanced, with generous flavor and solid structure. Hints of chocolate and mocha in the mouth and on the aftertaste. Finishes with lush, spreading tannins and sneaky length.
Superdark and powerful. Shows raisin, spice, coffee and violets aromas. Full-bodied, very chewy, with lots of grip and loads of fruit. Very long in the mouth. Outstanding young Port. Super value. Best after 2012.
