There is plenty going on in Noval’s 20-year-old. It is a dry style, but the generous fruit combines marmalade and fresh citrus flavors, along with powerful ripeness. Acidity is there too, giving a lift at the end.

This smells just like English Christmas cake. Full-bodied and very sweet, with plenty of toffee and dried fruit character on the finish. Really yummy. Drink now.

Notes of pie crust, cinnamon and sugar place this at the table in lieu of dessert. It’s a warming wine, both brisk and rich in its spice-cake flavors, sunny, schisty and taut.

Brick red to an amber colour on the rim. Not as expressive as some on the nose. On the palate it is rich, full and spicy in style, seemingly quite fresh and youthful, with a vestige of peppery tannin remaining. Long and lovely.

A complex blend of fresh and mature wines, this 20-Year-Old glistens with scents of sweet William and deeper tones of apricot and nectarine fruit leather. Savory wood spice layers the fruit and lasts. The flavors have some bounce, an elasticity that keeps the wine fresh and transparent.

The legendary Noval has produced a deliciously attractive, light and poised wine, with fresh fruit and acidity. It is dry in style, with some tannins, and a layer of spirit that is well in balance. The aftertaste floats with acidity and fruit.
