I tried this wine because it had a rating of 87 in Wine Spectator . plum, berry, mocha and spice flavors. here are the suggested pairing recommendations: bbq and grilled meats, game, and heavier pasta dishes.

Blackberry, sour cherry and peach. Tannins cut through the palate, yet the whole remains well-combined. A long tannic finish with a slight mineral note and hints of peach.
