Full-bodied, deep-colored and rich with lip-smacking flavors of dark plum, blackberry jam, cocoa and a hint of French roast as well. Tannins build on the finish, but with an appealing silkiness and dark chocolate notes that go on and on. Drink now through 2008.

Medium ruby. Intensely spicy and ripe, with strong, almost port-like dark fruit scents and a peppery tone. Lush and thick, the spicy notes accenting sweet cassis fruit that builds with air. Finishes long and sweet, with suave tannins and plenty of oak spice and vanilla.

A powerful, oak-aged wine with fine, ripe red fruits and black tannins. This Reserva wine has 12 months French oak aging which gives it complexity, but the richness of the fruit gives a great firm balance to the wood. It is still young; age for at least 5 years.

Rich and deeply flavored, with brooding dark plum, dark chocolate and heady spicy flavors. Plenty of tannins, with good grip on the powerfully smoky and decadent finish. Needs time in the cellar. Best from 2003 through 2006.
