A very tannic wine - full of black cherries, cedar, oak. Powerful and a good example of a Portugese Cabernet -very different from the sort of cabs I've tried from elsewhere.

This has been a super value from Portugal for many years. The '92 is a fine example. The Cabernet is blended with a bit of Periquita to give it an extra dose of spicy richness. Try it with freshly grilled meats and vegetables.
