Quinta de Cabriz Red Blend Dão Colheita Seleccionada 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Blend of Alfrocheiro (early ripening Dão grape that has good color, rich tannin, a good balance of strawberry-like fruit and acidity), Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo in Spain, an early ripening varietal which produces good yields of flavorsome wine reminiscent of red fruits, plums, strawberries and blackberries, with firm tannins and it responds well to oak aging) and Touriga Nacional (as well as firm, rich color, its aroma is a really complex mixture of raspberries and ripe blackcurrants, herbs, flowers and liquorice, aka Preto Mortágua). Light to medium bodied, with silky tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and a spicy finish. This is a great value and it is so easy drinking you may need to keep a case around the house. Alcohol 13%.

This was an incredibly easy drinking wine at a great value. A juicy red wine bursting with ripe fruit flavors. A great pair for food.

Beautiful wine. Great fruit notes and Asian spice. Its a must buy. Can't pass this up for its price.

This is a good $10.00 wine. Great buy @ $6.00 Wine Library in Springfield NJ is selling for $6.00 / bottle. it's a good every day wine for low budget consumption. Actually opens up after 2-3 hours. Enjoy with most heart friendly meals. Medium body nice blend with a little length.
