A beautiful deep garnet wine falls from the bottle to my waiting glass. The aroma is delicious. Smells of spice and red currant hit my nose. A faint note of pepper lingers in the air. Upon swirling the wine in my glass, the scent becomes more complex - adding cherries, mocha and something else I can't put my finger on. Is it chestnut? Or plum? I swirl again, bring the glass to my lips for my first taste...
It is delicious. Quickie has all the spiciness of a Shiraz, yet it is semi-sweet. Almost jammy like a zinfandel. Flavors of plum, red berries and mocha dance around my mouth. Pepper seems read more...
