Querciabella Toscana Camartina 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

'Three Glasses Plus,' Gambero Rosso: The '07 Camartina, a celebrated red obtained from sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon aged in largely new French barriques, has a divine profile that alternates dark sensations of blueberry, black cherry, toastiness and coffee with a mellower, aromatically green soul that is fresh and balsamic. What follows is a monumental palate, creamy and very, very long. (2011) 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
