What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Editorial Reviews

Sweet black fruits and pipe tobacco, some black pepper, a touch of crayon waxiness,

Soft and rich with acids sneaking in on the backend. Bright very purple berry and plum fruit. Soft tannins, a bit of chocolate across the midpalate., Frankly grapy and fun tasting yet with food structure. Fruity yet not a fruit bomb with a decent finish. 87pts

Sweet, fruity nose of blueberries and welches grape juice. Grape jelly in the mouth - this is a seriously fruity wine. Sweet and fruity up front, with low tannins and not much after. Finishes quickly, but for $12 its a great deal.

Tastes like you would imagine, a violet-hued wrangler of large cattle. It's a real fruity time on the good times ranch.

This wine was powerfully fruity that just hits you in the face. It's a fun wine to drink alone and with a bunch of friends. However, there isn't a lingering finish which is what makes this wine fun to drink alone but not so much during a meal, that's my opinion.

Inky, fruit forward, berry and a slight chocolate tone. No special nuances to this selection, but worth the $10 I spent on it. I would call it a very good picnic wine or a wine to drink out on the back patio with a friend.

Powerful nose of blueberries and spice. A little dry in the mouth with a big tannic kick that quickly fades into a pleasant chalky finish. Giddy up.
