Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Domaine René Monnier was founded in 1723. The Domaine is now in the hands of the tenth generation of the family who own 16 hectares of vineyards in the best crus of the Côte de Beaune in France. Great attention is paid to limiting the yields in the vineyards. This guarantees the best possible quality of juice, with the correct balance between fruit and acidity. René Monnier’s wines are well known in many four star restaurants. Grapes : 100% Chardonnay Region : France / Burgundy / Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru AOC Maker : Romaric Chavy Notes : A delightful golden yellow in colour exuding smoky almond tones and taste. Very round and smooth with almond and honey notes, nicely intergrated with soft oak. Serve : Chilled with shellfish, especially lobster and scallops. ABV : 13% Suitable for Vegetarians

Winemaker's Notes:

Situated further down the slope than La Garenne, Les Folatières hasprovided a noticeably fuller-bodied wine with rich, fleshy fruit and anattractive hint of toasty oak.
