"The bouquet is deep, very elegant and primary, as it offers up notes of lemon, pear, candied grapefruit, beeswax, beautiful chalky minerality and again, a topnote of apple blossoms. On the palate the wine is medium-full, tightly wound and transparent, with great focus and grip on the very long, snappy and soil-driven finish. This will take a bit longer to unwind than the Champs Canet, and will at least be as good as that beautiful wine, and perhaps edge it out in the end with its very complete and very discreet personality. A fine, fine bottle. 2012-2030+...93+." John Gilman 12/06
