RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Editorial Reviews for Provenance Vineyards Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
This really is expressive with ripe cassis fruit framed with sweet, toasted oak notes and a lovely herbal top note. On the palate this shows lovely concentration and ripeness but retains that herbal, almost oregano edge and a freshness and balance that adds length to the finish. the finish is still a bit oaky with mocha and spice notes but ample red berry fruit keeps everything in balance. A great value and a wine with 5-10 years of cellaring potential. 89pts
A Classic Rutherford Cab, rich and concentrated. Packs in chewy currant, mineral, fresh earth, sage and wild berry flavors delivered in a plush, yet firmly tannic manner, with a hint of herb. Goes With: Roast Beef, Lamb, Pork, and Pasta Review: Cost Plus World Market
Excellent wine, needs decanting though, ripe fruits, berries, and a hint of chocolate and tobacco
Great Classic Cab for a reasonable price.

Wine Tasting NotesInitially closed in showing mescal, minerality and beeswax, this wine opens to mocha, soy, French-vanilla ice cream with chocolate nuances, and the classic cocoa-dust finish. This is a Bordelaise-style wine in its depth and its "hidden treasure" fruit elegance and subtlety. It is surprisingly soft and approachable with sweet oak spice and black olive throughout the finish.
Robust and chunky, with a solid, chewy core of earthy currant, black cherry, plum and herbal notes. It's bright, intense and concentrated, with excellent depth and purity of flavor, finishing with a strong burst of rich Cabernet fruit.
Wine Tasting NotesOur Provenance Vineyards Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon displays lively red currant, black cherry and wild blackberry aromas layered with classic mocha and toffee character. Hints of clove, violet and dark chocolate are released with each swirl of the wine. The wines richly textured, opulent dark berry flavors open with chocolate, espresso and accents, and then pick up more subtle nuances of spicy black pepper, black tea and green olive on the mid-palate. Overall, the sensation is of impeccable balance. The wines plush tannins and long, graceful finish make this a classic Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, with the distinct cocoa powder nuances of "Rutherford Dust."
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is grown primarily at the historic Vineyard Georges III. First planted by Thomas Rutherford in the late 1800's, the vineyard is now owned by the Beckstoffer Family. This elegant, volupruous wine demonstrates the distinctiveness of the Rutherford appellation. The provenance of a piece of art is a guarantee of its authenticity. Our name reflects our goal of producing fine wines the are works of art.
