Food Pairings for Protocolo Tinto
External Reviews for Protocolo Tinto
The 2009 Protocolo Tinto is 100% Tempranillo aged for 3 months in seasoned American oak. Purple-colored, it displays a nose reminiscent of Beaujolais. Fruity and fresh on the palate, the finish has no hard edges. Drink it over the next 2 years. This lively red offers bright fruit flavors, with fresh acidity and light tannins. Simple but agreeable, with enough structure for food. Tempranillo. Drink now. 15,000 cases imported. -TM
Ruby red color with violet hues, clean and very brilliant. On the nose, the wine is fruity, raspberry, red fruits; very characteristic of the variety. Light notes of toast and spice.
