User Reviews for Prosecco DOC

Winemaker's Notes:

Prosecco is a native vine in eastern Veneto, where it is very widespread, above all in the provinces of Treviso and Belluno. Here it is grown in the hills near to the Alps in lime and moraine soils. The Adriatic Sea is not so far away and this plays a part in the excellent light and afternoon winds. The hills and the Alps protect the vines against the frozen north winds and they also make sure it is cool at night, even in the hottest summers. These are the ideal conditions for a precious grape, filled with inviting aromas and a cool, fresh flavor.

Tasting Notes:

You can admire the bubbles that enhance the fresh greenish-gold color and the bouquet of wild flowers with a base note of pears. The light, refreshing flavor has a delicate fruity aftertaste.
