Bortolomiol Prosecco Banda Rossa(NV)

Classical and gently sweet. "Banda Rossa" because Giuliano Bortolomiol would use a red mark to distinguish special selection bottles, those for his dearest friends.

This dry style prosecco is full of style! Its tiny
bubbles break open with scents of freshly baked
bread, leading to a creamy palate full of crisp
apples and pears with a finish that is both dry
and refreshing.

A great alternative to any brut Champagne or
Sparkling Wine. Try as a spritzer with fruit wine or
by itself making every day a celebration! For fun –
enjoy this with Sushi!

An excellent any-time sparkler, that won't break the bank. The interestingly shaped bottle is a good conversation piece as well!

Banda Rossa is Bortolomiol's top of the line Prosecco; a great sparkling wine value that is consistently lauded for its high quality for the price.Pale yellow color with very fine persistent bubbles. Delicate and pleasant fruit bouquet; great taste of almonds and pears. This Brut Prosecco has just a touch of sweetness and is very well-balanced... almost velvety. Great alone or with spicy foods and light desserts. Best before 2007. Gold medal winner at VinItaly in 1999.

One of the best values in Prosecco.

This is an excellent sparkler. Quite drinkable, in fact I'd call it a guzzler. The key word is light -- light bubbles light fruits and light aromas come together with a light price tag.

I'd say "Where's my orange juice?" but it isn't Saturday morning, I'm not hungover, and it's just fine by itself.

3 overall, but 4 in terms of price - if you find champagne too acidic and brut(al) this is a great alternative. Sweet fruits and lower acidity make this a more approachable choice.
