RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

As effusively praised on Cellar Notes. For $25, they say it has to be worthy of a Saturday night dinner wine. They claim it has notes of coffee and black pepper. They recommend serving it with a moderately savory dish, such as veal.
How do small vineyards growing Nebbiolo grapes in Barbaresco in the Piedmont region of Italy compete with the guys growing Nebbiolo in Barolo? Join forces in a cooperative. And that’s what happened in 1894 and continues today with nine classic premium sites from Barbaresco: Asili, Rabajà, Pora, Montestefano, Ovello, Pajé, Montefico, Moccagatta and Rio Sordo. It takes nine to make a thing go right. Produttori del Barbaresco makes an affordable, easy drinking wine out to the cooperative; Nebbiolo Langhe. A young wine made from grapes grown on young vines is ready made for nights when you want to dance your young ass off. This isn’t a throw-away wine, but it also isn’t a pretentious wine that needs some uptight DOCG designation. Go ahead, open this one up and dance the Cabbage Patch. 2008 Langhe Nebbiolo Look Ruby red sipper wearing ruby red slippers. Smell Fennel spiked jam. Jam on it. Taste The first steps are raspberry and cherry transitioning into smooth tannic black tea for a pucker-up dip to end the song. If you want all the classic moves of a Barbaresco, without the price of the VIP room, grab a Langhe Nebbiolo. This is a nice smooth wine, medium body. The bouquet had nice tone of fruit, that carried over to the palette when drank. The taste of the wine lingered on the pallet; this allowed me to enjoy the wine with small sips over a long time period.
this is a great, inexpensive nebbiolo, enjoyable with food or without. nice brightness to the fruit, without feeling sharp.
I loved this wine. I love sauvignon blancs with lots of minerals and now I found a red that similarly has minerals that tickle my palate. I need to buy some more.
Tried this wine in Vegas and I loved it.

A pretty ruby red with pure clarity and purple reflections. Aromatics and flavors are persistent and complex with hints of violets, wild strawberries, raspberries, cherries and a warm spicy finish.
The 2007 Nebbiolo delle Langhe is an especially ripe, full-bodied wine from the Produttori. Sweet, enticing aromas lead to an opulent core fruit. This is an incredibly concentrated wine with superb depth and tons of style, all within the context of traditionally-made Nebbiolo. The richness of the fruit completely covers the tannins, making this an incredibly accessible young Nebbiolo. The Produttori's Nebbiolo delle Langhe is the estate's third selection from 100& Barbaresco-designated vineyards - usually younger vines - aged in cask. It wasn't that many years ago that the Nebbiolo was a highly inconsistent wine. Today, it is arguably the finest value in Langhe Nebbiolo. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2017. Produttori del Barbaresco continues to make better wines with each passing vintage.
Medium red. Sexy aromas of redcurrant, game, truffle and tobacco. A juicy, aromatic midweight, with a slightly medicinal licorice quality and bright acidity lifting the flavors of red fruits, smoke and game. Finishes with substantial, slightly drying tannins. This was bottled barely a week before my visit.
Pepper and spice on the nose with hints of anise and herbs. Lively tannins and a long finish makes this wine a nice introduction for those who are curious about the great Barolos and Barbarescos of Piedmont.
Blended from a selection of this renowned co-oprsquo;s vineyards in Barbaresco, this shows remarkable balance and composure. Initially floral, with deep scents of rose and plum, it gains elegance and complexity with air, mixing red fruit with savory notes of smoked tea and spice. The structure feels as influenced by acidity as it is by tannin: The flavors are lifted and brisk, the ripeness of the vintage checked by the winersquo;s brightness. An impressive effort, this is worth cellaring a few years if you can resist its charm. Otherwise, decant a bottle for fresh pasta with pork sugo.
The 2008 Langhe Nebbiolo shows gorgeous depth and purity in a core of dark fruit, spices and minerals. The finish is long and polished, especially for a wine at this level. This fresh, vinous Nebbiolo offers terrific balance and is a great choice for readers who want to begin an exploration into Nebbiolo — one of the world’s noble grapes — without breaking the bank. Once again, the Produttori have turned out what may very well be the very finest value in Nebbiolo, and all from young vines in Barbaresco to boot! Anticipated maturity: 2009–2016.
Made from declassified Barbaresco lots at this legendary cooperative winery, this outperforms many more ambitious wines andmdash; without trying to be anything that itandrsquo;s not. That said, the wine is brisk and clean. The tannins have a hint of pomegrante-seed bitterness, but donandrsquo;t interfere with the length of the tart cherry flavor. Itandrsquo;s the sort of wine Italians would eat with song birds caught from the wild, when there were still song birds to catch. Now they might decant it for farm-raised roast squab.
