it is probablly the best tasting merlot i have ever tasted. it's really rare but once you discover it you feel just as you found a hidden treasure.

One of the most hailed Romanian Merlots, from Dealu Mare - Vila Zorilor this wine is set as a reference point in this country's fine quality dry reds.
Colour - bright red with ruby edges
Body - full, oak barreled, round, velvety
Bouquet and aroma: intense fruity nose of cherries and plums, chocolate and vanilla
Long finish, pleasant aftertaste
Overall, a well-balanced wine, 13.5% alc, spiced with black pepper and cinnamon, with a persistent note of dry fruits (figs and dates) Good value for the money.
