We've had this wine twice now. I'm drinking it as I write this. I have found it to be quite drinkable right away. I thought it had a very subtle nose for a red, with a nice, even flavor. Not too much of an alcohol taste (checking in at 13.5% according to the label). The only complaint (for lack of a better word) is a very short finish. I wish it would linger on the tongue longer. The first time we had it, we did not finish it. The next day it was a bit more mellow. A bit more smooth. Decanting would not be a bad idea.
