Food Pairings for Pride Mountain Vineyards Chardonnay Napa Valley
Pride is always a fantastic value and this is no exception. Beautifully rounded and rich, but not too buttery or oaky. Tart tartin (caramel apples and yeasty crust) flavors with balanced acidity. I've had older vintages that have cellared a bit and dare I say they stack up to some great Burgundys.
Intense nose of honeycomb, yellow apple and quince. A smoothly building attack with the right vibrant tingle culminates in creamy flavors of apple, spice and honey. Emerging acidity through the middle and finish intensify the flavors providing excitement and verve without any bitterness or sharpness. Not even a hint of explicit oak. One of our finest Chardonnays ever.
1230 cases produced.
Notes: 30% French Oak, 70% Neutral Oak
