Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 1996

Winemaker's Notes:

Highly concentrated and deeply extracted, this wine is one for the ages. Ripe black fruits, judiciously complimented by notes of toasty oak offer a luxurious mouth feel. While “friendly” tannins make this wine enjoyable right out of the gate, it clearly promises to reward those with patience, many years of cellaring.

Saturated ruby. Subtle, perfumed, slightly high-toned aromas of cassis and redcurrant; ripe and highly aromatic. Big, lush and dense, with superripe flavors of plum and graphite. Plenty of underlying structure. The tannins here are riper than those o... Stephen Tanzer's IWC.
