Pride Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Sonoma-Napa Counties 2000

Winemaker's Notes:

94 points Connoisseurs' Guide: A worthy successor to the stunning 1999, the 2000 version is again a deeply fruited and extraordinarily precise expression of pure Cabernet cassis complete with the loamy and black-olive aspects of the grape and is decked out with a fine complement of supportive oak spice. There are plenty of fine-grained tannins to ensure a very long life, and, as with Pride's best efforts, this is one to hide away in the cellar for a decade and more. (Feb 2012)

The charming and unpretentious tasting room offers guests the opportunity to sample the latest vintages while chatting with the gracious and knowledgeable staff. County regulations require that visitors hold a prior appointment. Read less
