Nicely bright on the nose. Floral and herbal at first, before adding some nice spicy strawberry and raspberry elements and cedary oak. Sweet on entry and a bit soft, it is a very particular style of wine. Once you get past the sweetness, the wine offers nice, fresh cherry and strawberry flavors that are edged with oak and vanilla tones. The structure is well balanced with enough acid to keep things fresh and a bed of soft tannins that helps push aside the sugar, but that sweetness does lend a distinctive cola flavor to the back end. Can’t say I like this, but many people will. 85pts

A very smoky side of the Zinfandel world, with an overwhelming aroma of beef jerky! A bit sweet as well, and an interesting turn. With the sweetness, I prefer this as a sipping Zin, but could also see it paired nicely with some heavier cheeses and charcuterie!

Very minty and slightly rubbery on the nose. The flavors were so concentrated and thick, I couldn't take more than one sip. Maybe cook this down into a sauce instead?
