Deep black cherry colour. Bags of sweet dark fruit and a lightly minty note plus a touch of orange and raisin and dark chocolate. Fragrant and surprisingly gentle. Smooth and relatively soft tannins even now. Mix of sweet oak spice and sour cherry on the finish. Long and surprisingly gentle and some oak spice on the finish. 17/20 (JH) Jancis Robinson.

A refined red showing plenty of peppery accents to the concentrated flavors of roasted plum with shadings of dried berry and cherry. Very zesty and savory on the finish which extends with green olive notes. Offers fine balance and structure. Drink now through 2018.

Suave and powerful with dark cherry violet plum and mocha flavors that feature touches of smoke. Black fig and olive notes join in on the finish along with plenty of dark chocolate. Drink now through 2020. -KM Wine Spectator.
