Powerful and ripe, like a dry Port, with loads of dark plum, dark cherry, dark chocolate and vanilla flavors. Intense, with plenty of tannins, but within bounds and showing an underlying sense of finesse and elegance. Just a baby now. Best from 2007 ... Wine Spectator.
